Materials, inventory, equipment and subcontractors

Four reports cover the resource side of a job — what you bought, what is in stock, how your equipment earns, and how your subcontractors perform. Each appears only when its add-on is active.

Materials by project

Every purchase line — itemised and lump-sum — attributed to a project in the chosen period: item, quantity, and net / sale amounts. Lines group under their project, and the net and sale columns respect your price-view rights. Filter by project and date range.

Requires the Purchases add-on.

Inventory valuation

Current stock per item and storage location, valued at catalog net and sale prices (quantity × price). A location filter narrows it, and the header counts positions and flags any with negative stock. Free-text items without a catalog price value at zero.

Requires the Inventory add-on.

Equipment

A utilisation and revenue view per equipment item: rentals, days out, currently active and overdue counts, revenue earned and still unbilled, deposits held, and a client-versus-internal split. A KPI strip sits on top and a category roll-up beside the per-item table. Optional date window.

Requires the Equipment add-on.

Subcontractors

Per subcontractor over an act-date window: number of contracts, cost (approved-act net), billed to the client (sale), margin (sale minus cost) with its percentage, and amount paid to date. A negative margin shows in red.

Requires the Subcontractors add-on.

These reports only appear when their add-on is active and you hold its view right. With the add-on off, the report and its data are cleanly excluded — nothing from a disabled module leaks into your reports.

Yes. The net and sale columns on the materials and inventory reports follow the same price-view rights used across the ERP, so a role without purchase-price access simply does not see those columns.
